Super Premium Starter

Champ Starter contains energy and proteins nutrients which are essential for pups during the gestation period as well as after birth. The small intestine of pups and their production of enzymes is hardly developed when the nursing period starts. The ability of pups to consume solid food only amounts to 5-10% of the absorption capacity of an adult dog. During the nursing period, the digestive system of pups is not yet fully developed. They are not yet able to absorb large quantities of food and digest starch properly. If this is not taken into account, a pup may contract serious digestive problems (such as diarrhoea).
Available in packs of 4 kg.

Champ Starter is energy-rich and low in starch in order to deal adequately with both problems areas. Pregnant and nursing bitches, as well as pups, benefit from the high energy content, thus reducing the quantity of food they have to take in to cover their needs. Champ Starter chunks may be fed to pups, from three weeks old until they are around eight weeks old. From the age of six weeks, pups may gradually move from Champ Starter to Champ Breed Pup a seamless follow-up product contributing to stable, balanced growth. In the beginning, the chunks can be soaked in some boiled water cooled down to approximately 50°C. Soak the chunks in the water for about 15 minutes. As the pups grow older, you can gradually reduce the quantity of added water, until they are able to eat dry chunks.
